1. Who we are
GuroOS is an AI-powered digital workspace built for Filipino teachers and class advisers. The Service helps you plan lessons, create and check assessments, compute grades, manage class records, and generate DepEd forms such as SF9 and SF10.
2. Your account
You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be a teacher, school staff member, or otherwise authorized education professional to use GuroOS.
3. The Founding Teacher Program
During our early phase, teachers may join the Founding Teacher Program. Joining is free and does not require a credit card. Founding Teacher benefits, including discounted pricing, are described in our Founding Teacher Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
To keep GuroOS safe and useful for every teacher, you agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
- Upload student data you are not authorized to process, or use it for any purpose other than your legitimate teaching duties.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other tenants' data.
- Resell, sublicense, or share your account access without our written permission.
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as independently verified where professional judgment is required.
5. Your content and student data
You retain ownership of the content and records you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant GuroOS a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are the data controller for student information you enter; GuroOS processes it on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details, including our compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
6. AI-generated output
GuroOS uses AI to help draft lesson plans, assessments, and other materials. AI output can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any material before you use it with students or submit it officially. GuroOS is a tool that assists your professional judgment — it does not replace it.
7. Subscriptions, pricing, and payments
Some features require a paid subscription after any free trial or Founding Teacher period. Prices, plans, and billing cycles are shown in the app before you subscribe. Founding Teachers receive the discounted pricing described in the Founding Teacher Policy for as long as their subscription stays active. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep GuroOS available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice — for example, in the app or by email. Continuing to use GuroOS after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuroOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Philippine law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GuroOS at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. On termination, you may request an export of Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
